someone buy me a paid Flickr account plz, it won’t show all my photos anymore!

Nothing has actually changed since my last entry. I am trying not to spend as much money as I have been. I was doing pretty well, not driving as much, saving gas money, not eating out every night. Latest impulse buy was a Spectra AF. Not a huge fan of the glossy photos, maybe there’s an alternative.

Looking for a way to get to Chicago next week. Craigslist has not yet delivered, but for a few possible leads. We’ll see. I’m excited about seeing Sonic Youth, GZA, and Of Montreal. I’m even excited for the long car ride.

I feel stressed, or anxious, for no real reason. It’s probably because of this trip. I hate getting anxious about vacations. That just should not happen.

Today I’ll clean my room, go through my record pile, make the mix tapes I’ve been putting off, and get some mail sent out. Not bills, though.

Oh yeah, I’m moving to NYC at the end of the summer. bye!

Things are okay. Riding my new longboard. Silk screening ‘GHOST RIDE THE WHIP tshirts. They’re 5-7$ if you give me a tshirt to print on, or 10$ at HBML in Worcester. Sleeping a lot. Reading some good books (Bukowski, Camus). I’m not lonely but I’d like a cutie to spoon with on a regular basis. Boys or girls, whatever at this point.

Mountain Goats road trip next month.. Pitchfork Fest in Chicago (July). I’m going to get my car checked out, and if it’s cool to drive, everyone should come!

Running out of money. I’m a mess. I want chicken alfredo. I haven’t washed my hair in about 5 months. Yard sale at my house next weekend. Ask me about it. Let’s ride bikes soon ok

Haley sold me her old Canon FTb 35mm SLR, I think I like it. The shutter isn’t as fast as the AE-1, and there’s no DOF preview, but it’s growing on me. I couldn’t do double exposures with my Minolta so it’s nice to have those back. Metering is easier (or at least, more intuitive) than the AE-1.. and thousands of times better than the Minolta. I don’t think I ever took a single shot I really liked with that camera.

Yesterday was so beautiful. I think the winter is finally over. It was in the 70s. Jocelyn and I went to the flea market and made friends with an old record hoarder. I got the Bob Dylan s/t LP (in mono!), Prince’s 1999, and some Hank Williams Jr/Sr. for $10.

Sat in the sun for a while at Elm Park and my skin started peeling. I need to get out more.

Things are going to get better soon, I know it.

this post is dedicated to sean-michael dore, who shipped me a large box of vinyl to cheer me up when i was down earlier this week.

yesterday i hung out with kelli, it was excellent, i can’t even say. i got sick from tsam’s, and i called in to work but they asked me to come in anyhow, but i got to sleep in a little, and it was like 40 degrees warmer than yesterday, and my adderall refill, and coming home to a box from my best friend of all these records that i’ve been wanting for years but not wanting to ebay, EVERYTHING IS SO GREAT

i can’t wait til i get my taxes back so i can go out to LA, i miss him

GO SEE A FUCKING ACCOUNTANT, unless you really know how to do your own shit. Did you know you’re qualified for a $30 credit just for having a cell phone? I DOUBT IT. It cost me $125 to have this guy do them, and it’s totally worth it (because I got over $800 back that I didn’t know I was qualified for). Goddamn.
