Thanks to TonyJ, and the Interwebs, I have the new Coheed. Ask if you want it. And yes, I’ll probably buy it when it comes out.

Bought my books for school, schedule is good, I still need a laptop. Orientation tomorrow.. I hear it’s lame. We’ll see. I’m going to try to bail out early to go to dinner for Kirsten’s birthday.

Gas went up, again, about 30 cents from the last time I checked.. probably going to be $3 by the end of September, if not sooner.

Dear everyone that drives an SUV or other uneconomical vehicle: fuck you. I don’t want to break open the nation’s oil reserves so you assholes can use it all in 2 days.

Who wants to hang out for the last week of my summer?

This summer went by so fast, it’s crazy. It’s because of my work schedule.. I lost track of time. I haven’t really been talking to anyone, so people are thinking I’m ignoring them (Sean, I’m not). I only have about 2 weeks before I go back to school.. I’m kind of excited. I got the letter yesterday that said I did well enough on the writing prompt that I can skip English Comp 101 and go right to 102. So excitement city. I’m living at home for school, but I’m going to try to make some changes in my room that will make it easier to study.. like cleaning, and getting my computer out of there so I can have more space on my desk. And getting a new chair.

kthx

I want to buy an ibook. They’re cute.

I’m training Kendall at work tomorrow, that should be fun. I don’t know if I’ll be able to get up tomorrow but I’ll try.

Got drunk for the first time the other night at Erika’s, it was sweet until I started to feel like shit. But people were nice to me, and gave me water, and back rubs, and told me it was gonna be okay and that “shit if I had known that was your first time I wouldn’t have let you drink that much!”. Luckily I didn’t throw anything up or do anything embarassing, except show up to work with a hangover and fall asleep at my desk. Then I hung out with Shanon later that day after work and we made fun of each other. Saw 40 Year Old Virgin with Rene, and also other people but they didn’t sit with us up at the top 🙁 Oh, and we saw Red Eye last week, strongly reccomended.

Rene bought our tickets for Death Cab in September! And I guess she bought 2 extra accidentally so if anyone wants to come with us, they’re $31, center balcony at the Orpheum in Boston. Holla!

Okay, bed.

“no.. it’s my dad’s car, i had no idea it wasn’t inspected”

Warped Tour was muddy. Sean was pissed about that, and we left. Waste of a day, and I didn’t get to see any of the bands I had wanted to. And apparently there were a lot of people there that could have driven me home, but I couldn’t find any of them. Ugh.

Nikki came back from Colorado and brought me a keychain and a Snoop Dogg cd.

I got pulled over tonight for the first time.. with 7 people in the car.. and an expired inspection sticker.. and no seatbelts except for mine. And the cops let us go and told me to buy a minivan. Then we cruised Main St blasting GASOLINA and The Faint, and having a dance party, and founds some sk8rz, and hung out with them for a while and played frisbee in the middle of a 5-lane road.

Crystalyn gets mega-namedropped.

My grandfather gets namedropped big time for sending me a $500 check in the mail today with a note saying that I should use it to help pay for a laptop for school. ROCK.

I miss Jolene THX.

That’s bullshit.. I don’t even have a phone. I had it suspended when it got stolen, and nobody from Verizon ever told me they turned it back on after a month. So I was paying for service and didn’t know it.

I guess I have to go get a new phone today.. since I’m paying for it anyhow. I liked not having a cell phone.. it was just another thing tying me down. I shouldn’t have fucking signed a 2-year contract. Kids, don’t get cell phones. You might think they’re cool, but they’re not. They make you look like a fucking douchebag.

Also, fuck allergies, and how I keep sneezing while I’m on the phone.

EDIT: I mean besides all this, life is great. If a cell phone bill and a runny nose are all I have to complain about, I think I’m doin’ alright.

Had a 6am encounter with a dude in Dunkin Donuts who was holding the door for me.
guy: hi
me: mornin’
guy: how are you
me: decent. new pants?
guy: yes actually they are, how could you tell?
me: tag’s still on the back
guy: SHIT REALLY? fuck. shit. THIS SUCKS. oh well, thanks for telling me.

Working every day. 9-5. It’s not really that bad, except a lot of times I just get home and sleep. Last week, interviewed Taproot, and 30 Seconds to Mars, Jared Leto’s band. In conclusion, the bassist from Taproot is kind of clueless, and Jared Leto loves us and I hate transcribing interviews.

I forget what else I did last week.

IHOP on Friday with Sean. Olive Garden with kids that night. We all rule. So does the bread there. Then Kirsten’s party, that was fun. Even though I looked less 80’s and more like I shop at the Salvy. Fun people there. Yay. Went to Kirsten’s, stayed up all night (almost). Woke up at 6 and went to Maine with my aunt. Cousin’s wedding. Yay relatives. Good salmon. Danced with my mom. Made a terrible face in every picture taken. Cousins and I (minus joe) fled the reception and found ourselves drinking beers on the side of the road. I hate beer. I like Maine.

Drove my grandfather’s minivan home from Maine because he had a breakdown, or something, nobody actually told me why I was driving. Something about a flat tire and Wal-Mart. Now after driving four-and-a-half hours, I’m tired and am going to play Half Life and go to sleep. thx4reading
