Applets, or applications? Applets can be run inside of webpages (and I’ll give you code if you request it), or inside of Java applications. Java applications can be run from the command prompt. If it’s a .class file, you can run it with “java foo.class”. If it’s a jar file (like hidejournal), you can run it with “java -jar hidejournal.jar”. And I haven’t the faintest idea how I got here. I did somehow a while ago. We have lj_nifty in common 🙂

The whole site is run by a portal called MyPHPNuke, for which there are many templates.. I just searched for one that was pretty much maroon. I didn’t do any html for it really, it’s all run through the settings and database stuff I put in. Gah, I have so much work to do on that site.. I’d say Cat’s Cradle by Kurt Vonnegut or A Clockwork Orange by Anthony Burgess. Why? Kurt Vonnegut is an amazing satirist. And an amazing writer over all. A Clockwork Orange is a classic. I love how he incorporates the German and English language together in one book, and how he does it so well.

The whole site is run by a portal called MyPHPNuke, for which there are many templates.. I just searched for one that was pretty much maroon. I didn’t do any html for it really, it’s all run through the settings and database stuff I put in. Gah, I have so much work to do on that site.. I feel bad that I’m putting it off, but my dad took my computer away. BLAH. ps, added you.

I’d say Cat’s Cradle by Kurt Vonnegut or A Clockwork Orange by Anthony Burgess. Why? Kurt Vonnegut is an amazing satirist. And an amazing writer over all. A Clockwork Orange is a classic. I love how he incorporates the German and English language together in one book, and how he does it so well.
