I’m confused. I’ve never had to deal with the loss of someone I was this close to. I’ve never felt closer to another person- never felt as though- well- I know she got my last letter, my drunken chicken scratch making sure she knew how much she meant to me and how much she was the impetus for my move to New York (it was one year ago last week).

I heard about what happened. I remember when I lived in Worcester and Angela and I met up with you, Jocelyn, and Maura. I met Dom that night, even if it was for five minutes, too. It’s tragic that you and your group of friends have suffered two losses so close together, and so young. My heart aches for all of you and my prayers go out to you too.
