warped tour was at a carnival. i went late and they wouldn't let me bring my camera in. the carnival was across the street, at True East, only it was bigger. like a field. i went inside someone's house and spent the whole day playing half life 2. at dusk i headed back to the carnival, it was closing up but i found a vendor with a cart selling a newer version of my MP3 player with a cigarette lighter built in, for $50. i took it out of my pocket and the LCD was cracked. it was really just gel.

i walked to the field, it was ripped up from everyone running around on it during the show. i realized a lot of good bands had played and i was bummed that i was videogaming all day. one of my dads' friends gave me a ride home.
